Dave Swainston
Proprietor/Manager

Dave, together with his partner Claire Johnson and their son Dylan, has owned Jetset Margaret River since mid-2002, and the original plan was for him to be behind the scenes. However, he has found that he quite enjoys talking to people about travel, and helping them to develop their plans, so has been busy over the past 7 or 8 years developing his consulting skills.

Dave and Claire have both travelled extensively in Asia (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Tibet, China and Hong Kong), Europe (UK, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Croatia, Greece), Southern Africa (Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia), North America (USA, Canada), New Zealand, and most Australian states. Dylan is a great traveller too, and has already explored parts of Thailand and Cambodia, Bali, NZ and bits of Australia!

In the last 5 years Dave has developed a passion for snowboarding, and is now familiar with many of the snowfields of the South Island of NZ, as well as the Lake Tahoe area in the US, and a couple of the Canadian resorts. Next on the list is Japan and he already has good knowledge of this destination through research done for clients.

Recent educational trips have included Phuket, Koh Samui and Bangkok, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and several parts of New Zealand.
Anette Clausen
Senior Consultant

Anette has been with Jetset Margaret River for over 8 years, and working in travel for more than 15 years. She was the mainstay of the business when Claire and Dave first took it on, and her extensive knowledge and efficiency have been a big part of us growing and developing our service.

Anette has also travelled extensively in Europe from her native Denmark, as well as Asia and Australia.

Recent trips have included APT river cruising in Europe, Bali, Tahiti, cruising on the Pacific Sun to New Caledonia and Vanuatu, the Gold Coast and Melbourne.
Judy Parker
Senior Consultant

Judy is also very experienced with over 13 years working in travel, and has been with us at Jetset Margaret River since early 2007, apart from a short break on the Gold Coast. Before that she was based in Adelaide, where she was awarded Jetset Travelworld SA/NT Consultant of the Year for 2006. Judy's excellent skills and knowledge have been a great addition to our team.

Judy has travelled throughout Europe and North America, and knows South Australia and her native New Zealand very well. Most recently she has visited Vietnam with Peregrine & Geckos Tours, Fiji, Malaysia, Hong Kong and NZ.

Emma Westerberg & Angelica Coffey
Consultants

Emma & Angelica have just left us (August 2010), as they have both moved away from Margaret River.

We hope to lure them back at some time.Â
