Jetset Leongatha - Agency of the Year 2007

The Jetset Gala Dinner and Awards Night was an exciting night for the staff of our agency who all attended this event. The most prestigious award of the evening is Agency of the Year Award, which recognises and acknowledges the best agency throughout Victoria and Tasmania for Jetset. This year, this award was won by our agency, Jetset Leongatha. It was indeed an outstanding year for our agency, which went on to win four additional awards:

• the coveted Trafalgar Tours Award, for Top Jetset Office,
• the APT Award, for Best Jetset Office,
• the Kirra Tours Award, for Office of the Year, and
• the Rail Plus Award, for Outstanding Sales Achievement.

These awards highlighted a great year for the agency, which also received recognition from other companies, including an award from Tempo Holidays, for Outstanding Contribution.

To keep up with the latest information about some of the newer destination and some of the older destinations, our staff have travelled far and wide in the past twelve months.

Jill and Ed travelled around Australia, visting Sydney and Perth, then travelling on the Indian-Pacific from Perth to Adelaide. They escorted a local group on an Icon Tour to Egypt for two weeks, followed this up with two weeks in Ireland as part of a Trafalgar Tour.

Jill was invited to attend the annual 'Rythm of the Rain Forest' festival in Borneo over seven days, an exciting, unusual and rather spectacular event, which sees the talent and skills of different cultural and musical groups from all over the world, displaying their skills in singing and dancing through their cultural displays.

Ed escorted a group to Canada and Alaska, which again left the travel group speechless with its awesome grandeur. Jill has just arrived home from a top achievers' tour with APT to China - she previously visited China seven years ago, and she was amazed at the changes that have taken place over this period up to today.

Renee visited Tassie, Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Last December, she went for a cruise on the Sun Princess from Sydney and visiting different ports of the South Island of New Zealand.

All of these experiences of our staff bring a rich source of knowledge to our office, from which our clients benefit.
